Somehow time is completely escaping me here and I haven’t posted in a couple weeks. Trust me, it’s not because nothing has been going on!
Henry is growing like a mad man. He’s up to 10+lbs already and aside from a bit of a cold in the last week, he’s been doing great! He’s a pretty demanding guy – likes to get up a couple times a night and always wants to eat, but he doesn’t cry a whole lot unless he’s hungry or needs a change. So, there’s definitely a shortage of sleep but compared to what we’ve heard from others (including my parents detailing my early days): we don’t have it bad at all.
Both Henry and I (at the request of my Uncle Matt) had committed to not shave until the Packers season was over. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to the Super Bowl but it was fun while it lasted. Here we are sporting our 2 weeks of growth during the pregame:
Uncle Mike made it back home last week to meet Henry. We had a really great visit, including a trip out to Devil’s Lake to see the sunrise.
We also made it over to Milwaukee to see Corinne, Thomas, Opa, and Lola before heading over to see Body Worlds (which was incredible). Corryn is already so big – it’s crazy to think Henry’s going to be that size in a month!
